Terms
Updated 4 November 2026.
- Parkday is provided by Wayside Foundry LLC as it is. On the web it is free, with everything in it.
- Parkday Pro is a subscription in the Parkday app on Google Play and the App Store. The store shows the price, takes the payment and renews it until you cancel in the store's subscription settings; refunds follow the store's own rules. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps Pro until the end of the period paid for. The free features stay free.
- Parkday does not book, hold or reserve campsites. Booking is done by you on recreation.gov or the park's own page.
- Booking-opens times are worked out from a booking rule. Until that rule has been checked, the time is marked 'Check the campground page to confirm'. Always confirm on the campground page.
- Distances are straight-line, not driving distances.
- Parkday does not navigate and is not a safety authority. Check with a ranger and posted signs. Conditions change.
- Conditions come from the National Park Service, National Weather Service, USGS, AirNow (EPA), the EPA UV Index, NRCS SNOTEL, NOAA tide predictions, OpenAQ, the National Interagency Fire Center, NASA FIRMS, Recreation.gov (including its RIDB feed), ReserveCalifornia and GBIF, can be late or missing, and are shown with the time they were fetched. None of these sources endorses Parkday.
- Day summaries are written by an AI model from those sources and can be wrong. The sources are listed under each summary.
- Notifications depend on your browser and device and may arrive late or not at all.
- Parkday TM is a mark of Wayside Foundry LLC.
- Reviews and photos. You can post a review and a photo of a place. Post only what you saw and took yourself, about the place. Do not post anything hurtful, sexual, illegal or misleading, anyone's personal details, or ads. Reviews are checked by an automated system before they show and can be refused, hidden or removed at any time; three reports from different people hide a review. By posting you give Wayside Foundry LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to show, store and adapt your review and photo in Parkday and its store listings, and you confirm you have the right to give it. You can delete your review at any time. Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not of Wayside Foundry or of any park agency. To report one, use its menu, or write to contact@waysidefoundry.com with a subject that starts with Parkday.
- To reach us, write to contact@waysidefoundry.com with a subject that starts with Parkday and says what it is about.
